5.      Building Control Surveyors

The Building Control Surveyors ensure that the building complies with the laws and regulations related to the project. The laws that are applicable here are related to conservation, fire safety and public health. These surveyors need to make sure that these rules are followed during the entire process of construction.

Some duties that a surveyor does on a regular basis are going to the site and conducting surveys. Besides this, they also do soil testing and keep a check on utility locating services. Planning the budgets for the projects and allotting work to the subcontractors are also part of their duties. They need to be in regular touch with the clients to make sure their requirements are being followed.
